The story centers around a kind-hearted eight-year-old girl named Peggy, who possesses a vivid imagination and an affinity for adventure. The plot unfolds as Peggy discovers a magical land filled with dolls and toys, embarking on thrilling journeys and meeting whimsical characters along the way. At the start of the narrative, readers are introduced to Peggy, her family, and her collection of beloved dolls, including Wooden, an old wooden doll with a kind spirit that she eventually begins to love. As Peggy explores her surroundings and expresses curiosity about the mysterious Island she sees from the beach, the story hints at the extraordinary adventures that await her. In a delightful twist, her toys come to life, whisking her away to Toyland, where she encounters adventures, friendships, and even royal intrigues involving her beloved Wooden and a new cast of characters, including Lady Grace and King Selim.
